nerDigital Messenger bot chat widget is a great tool to display your chatbot on your website and engage with your website visitors, get more leads or support your customers.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to add your Messenger bot to your Website.
Step 1: Navigate to the main left Menu > Tools
Step 2: Click on the Messenger Chat Plugin
On the next page, you need to complete these options in order to create your Messenger Chat Plugin for your website:
Logged in greeting : This is the greeting message your users see when interacting with your widget for the first time while logged in to their Facebook account.
Logged out greeting : This is the greeting message your users see when interacting with your widget for the first time while they are not logged in to their Facebook account.
Welcome Message : you need to choose a bot flow for your welcome message this is the first flow that your users will intact with. We recommend building a welcome flow for this purpose in order to navigate your users properly inside your chatbot.
Default Language : Choose your default language for your Messenger bot widget.
Guest mode : With enabling this guest mode you give your users this option to interact with your chatbot as a guest ( without logging in to Facebook) using a temporary created guest user name. This temporary user name is valid for 24 hours. We highly recommend choosing this option in order to increase engagement with your chatbot.
Brand Color : Choose your brand color according to your website and branding.
After completing all of these options click on the Copy in order to copy the widget code in the clipboard to place it in the Footer of your website.
You need to place this generated script on the footer of your website on every page (Body end HTML)
This code should be added just before the closing tag of the </body> element of each page of the site.
